Brief History
Richard Acunto founded Guardian General Insurance Services in 1997. Mr. Acunto has amassed over thirty years of experience in the insurance industry and has written over $1 billion dollars of direct written premium via the companies he has created. At an average premium of $1000 dollars or less, that's a lot of clients served.
Somewhat frustrated by the limits of technology and the availability of specialty products offered to Independent Brokers, Guardian General Insurance Services was conceived to fill both client and broker needs for high quality, affordable auto insurance products for all market segments coupled with cutting edge technological breakthroughs. The company is privately held and incorporated in the state of California. The corporate offices are located at 700 N. Central Avenue in Glendale, California. Currently the Company is licensed and operating in California only, but intends to release products soon in a number of states.
