Edward Hernandez
VP Marketing and Sales
Edward, along with his brother Rene, ventured into the world of insurance in 1993.
They partnered together and joined Farmers Insurance. Within 2 years, they became one
of Farmer’s top California producers offering Homeowners, Life, and Commercial insurance.
Edward was a member of Farmers Elite Million-Dollar Round Table of Life insurance for 4
successive years. During this time, Edward was recognized as being one of the youngest
agents to be promoted to a District Manager position for Farmers Insurance Group.
Edward experience includes International Insurance where he represented the top international
groups through out the world!

Edward has been honored with recognition from the United States Congress and Senate,

the Year and Latino Business Professional from insurance groups and associations throughout United States.
In June of 2004, Edward brought his wealth of insurance experience to Guardian General Insurance Services
to fill the position as Vice President of Marketing and Sales.

I service Northern California, offering my skills in
underwriting and sales to our Brokers and Independent Agents
from Bakersfield north to Redding.
Before joining Guardian General in 2001, I had the opportunity
to manage an office of Survival Insurance’s in Sacramento for
3 years. However, my insurance career began as a captive agent
(Life, Series 6, P&C) with The Horace Mann Insurance Companys,
which evolved into Sales Development Manager with focus on
hiring and training agents for the Pacific West Region. My
background in sales started with Pitney Bowes Inc., and later
as a Loan Officer with Home Savings of America. I proudly
served in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic
Controller.

data, ID cards and Dec pages can be accessed and printed by
