In late 1979, affiliated Cyr Insurance Management Company acquired the management contract for State and County Mutual Fire Insurance Company, the oldest county mutual in Texas. Further integration included the chartering of State National Life Insurance Company, Inc. and State National Insurance Company, Inc. (SNIC) in 1984, in addition to four insurance service related companies and eleven licensed insurance agencies.
Vertical integration has enabled State National to rise as one of the industry leaders in the financial insurance markets. State National's corporate structure provides a much higher level of service with the additional stability ensuring control of their products to their clients.
